With a resurgence of Black Lives Matter, continued focus on the Me Too movement, and changes in how we define and see “gender,” I felt I would need to apologize for writing about garden variety gender bias and discrimination. So I didn’t. This is the final blog for DifferenceWORKS. Thanks to all who read some of my 276 blogs. I wish great success to those still working for equity and inclusion.
The pace of progress of women in business is unsatisfactory. The Supreme Court hearings continue the #MeToo theme: women are silent when they are wronged.
“Radical Inclusion” means including – or at least listening and being civil to — those who disagree with us. That’s my next frontier.
Should women rely on their intelligence and talents rather than on revealing clothing? Should women should be able to wear whatever they want at work?
Could we find more compassion in dealing with immigrants — and with each other?
